「千の風になって（I’m a Thousand Winds）」

ふとしたことから Hayley Westenra が歌う「I’m a Thousand Winds」という曲に出会いました。
彼女の透きとおった歌声に聴き入ってしまい、lyrics を読みたいと調べてみると、作者不詳の poetry にメロディがついたんだそうです。
シンプルに選ばれた word や 素直な rhyme もあまりに美しい。

日本では2006年に秋川雅史さんが歌い大ヒットしましたが、僕は恥ずかしながら英語が原曲（Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep）だとは知りませんでした...なんてことは内緒にしておきます :p
